FAQ

To use electronic resources outside the school, please log in with account authentication. However, some resources may require the use of the SSLVPN provided by the school computer center.

Each user is responsible for complying with the copyrights and related regulations when use e-resources. Violating to do so may result in loss of access to a resource for the entire university community. Electronic or printed copies are permitted, only when such copies are for personal use of authorized users. Commercial distribution, re-distribution and massive photocopies are strictly prohibited.

1. NCHU Library is an institutional subscriber of "Proceedings of the National Academy of Sciences of the United States of America" (PNAS). PNAS supports Open Access policy, as long as it is submitted by corresponding author of the subscribed institution. Once the journal is published and authorized to open access (Open Access), whom may receives a discounted price for article processing. For more details, please refer to the PNAS official website.
2. The library has introduced the "IEEE Database Open Access (OA) Submission System" for our school staff and students, which provide 20% discount on the article processing fee if your manuscripts are published. When applying for a discount, you need to fill in the school's ID 34916 to pass the certification.
